I am a doctoral candidate in the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's Department of Rehabilitation Sciences and Technology in the College of Health Sciences. 

My dissertation research at the Mobility Lab seeks to understand the mechanisms underlying the development of rotator cuff pathology in manual wheelchair users with pediatric-onset spinal cord injuries or dysfunctions.

I am passionate about research that positively impacts people by improving mobility, function, and recovery from injury or surgery. Born and raised in southwest Michigan, I currently live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with my wife, daughter, and dog. I enjoy running and cycling, gardening, cooking, and watching hockey, football, and baseball.
